David Hanrahan

Board Member since April 2008

David is General Manager of Microsoft Infrastructure Solutions for Dimension Data. Previously, David was a freelance lighting designer, working at Her Majesty’s, Comedy and Princess Theatres, and for Australian Opera and Australian Ballet. David has an MBA from Southern Cross University and completed the Graduate Company Director Course from Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Richard Roberts

Board Member since December 2007
Richard Roberts is a freelance theatre designer and teacher based in Melbourne. His design experience has included designs for drama, dance, film, television and opera.

Julia White

Board Member since March 2009

Julia has been Development Director at Melbourne Theatre Company for the past 2 years, enjoying the occasional highs (and lows) of fundraising and sponsorship in the not for profit sector. 

Kirsty Ellem

Kirsty Ellem

Kirsty Ellem is a committed arts leader with significant cross sector experience. Currently Manager of the Monash University Academy of Performing Arts, she brings a history of working with artists to produce and create work, to program work and to develop artistic enterprises.

Tom Gutteridge

Tom Gutteridge is the Artistic Director of Union House Theatre and former Artistic Director of Black Swan Theatre Company in Perth. He is a performance and multi-media creator, with credits including mainstage opera and theatre direction, sound design and composition, and dramaturgy and writing across all live and digital media.

Andrew Gun

Andrew Gun is a lawyer with experience in intellectual property, general commercial, trade practices and consumer protection law. Andrew also provides pro bono legal services to clients including homeless people in Melbourne and the Human Rights Law Resource Centre.

Johanna Platt

Treasurer and Board Member since April 2008

Johanna works as Group Strategy Manager & Finance Business Partner for Cadbury Schweppes. Prior to this, Johanna held corporate executive positions as Senior Financial Analyst and Financial Controller at Western Mining, Mayne Logistics & FedEx. Johanna has an MBA from Melbourne Business School.
