Shalini Nair

Shalini Nair has worked in theatre since 2000, taking on various roles from stage management to arts management. She was Senior Administrator at The Necessary Stage in Singapore for 5 years, working on main season and festival productions. After completing an Arts Management degree at WAAPA in 2007, Shalini worked as Associate Producer at The Blue Room, Perth’s only arts venue supporting independent artists. Since moving to Melbourne in 2009, she produced Attract/Repel by The Melbourne Town Players and worked with Melbourne Writer’s Festival and Melbourne Theatre Company.

Shalini's range of skills include planning schedules, managing budgets and front-of-house, handling box office, managing database and website projects, coordinating marketing activities as well as being a nice person. She is also a qualified graphic and web designer who brings her creative skills to Polyglot.
